The Wavest web app uses Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in:

• You can sign out at any time to revoke access

11. Bookmarks & Interaction Tracking (Web App)

When you use the web app:

• Bookmarks: Articles you bookmark are stored in our database associated with your account
• Reading History: We track which articles you click on to improve personalization
• Preferences: We store your category and source preferences based on your interactions
• This data is used solely to personalize your news feed and is not shared with third parties

12. Daily Briefing & Audio Caching (Web App)

The daily briefing feature:

• Generates personalized audio summaries of top news stories
• Audio files are cached on our servers and in your browser for 24 hours
• Transcripts are stored to allow you to read along with the audio
• We use Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and Gemini AI to generate briefings
• Cached data is automatically deleted after 24 hours
